Amazing smell as soon as you walked in. Had a large assortment of pies, cupcakes, and cookies. Bought a strawberry and rhubarb pie, and it was very good!

Great homemade pies, reasonably priced, and tries to use local ingredients when possible. Get one fresh and ready to eat or buy one frozen and take it home to bake yourself. As long as you follow his directions, you'll have a fantastic dessert every time!
Dan’s Pies is a hidden gem located just east of 13 on Backwater Rd south of Syracuse, Indiana. It’s only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day but worth the high quality pies and pastries that Chef Dan prepares.
Everything I have eaten from Dan's Pies has been wonderful. Sugar free items are on the list! Only open during summer months.
